Annual Pancake Feed

Serving Breakfast. Supporting Education. Strengthening Community.

Each November, in partnership with the Minden Chamber of Commerce Holiday Walk/Run, the Rotary Club of Minden hosts its annual Pancake Feed — a long-standing tradition that brings neighbors together around a shared table for a shared purpose. What begins as a simple breakfast becomes a meaningful investment in the future of our community.

Families, friends, and visitors gather to enjoy warm pancakes, conversation, and the spirit of the season. Rotary members volunteer their time to prepare and serve the meal, reflecting the club’s century-long commitment to hands-on service and dependable leadership. The event has become a trusted and welcoming part of Minden’s holiday festivities — a place where community pride and fellowship naturally come together.

Proceeds from the Pancake Feed directly support Rotary’s local initiatives, including the purchase of dictionaries for third graders and other community-focused projects throughout the year. Every plate served helps equip young learners with essential educational tools and fuels programs that strengthen the fabric of Kearney County.
